Tết at the Smithsonian – Celebrating Vietnamese Heritage

Join us for an unforgettable day of color, culture, and community as our partners bring the festivities to life at the Smithsonian Arts + Industries Building (AIB) from 12–6 p.m. Witness a traditional Vietnamese blessing ceremony, be dazzled by the graceful and rarely seen tray dance (múa mâm), and dive into hands-on festival crafts and activities for all ages.

Savor delicious food, enjoy dynamic cultural performances from across Asia, and take part in curator talks and special tours throughout the museum that bring the stories behind the art to life.
